Incendiu pe o insulă din Croația. Aproximativ 500 de persoane au fost evacuate, iar 3.500 de hectare sunt distruse de flăcări

Around 500 people were evacuated from the Croatian island of Brac due to a wildfire that destroyed 3,500 hectares of vegetation. The fire, which started on Thursday, remains active but has improved significantly as of Sunday morning. Two individuals were injured, one seriously. Evacuations were primarily conducted by boats, including those from the port authorities and private vessels. Among those evacuated were 40 Hungarian tourists. The fire has been exacerbated by extreme heat and drought conditions affecting Croatia this summer. Over 220 firefighters, supported by vehicles and aircraft, have been battling the blaze, which has caused significant damage to infrastructure.
