Comisia Europeană aprobă ajutoare de stat de 52 milioane euro acordate de România crescătorilor de bovine afectaţi de creşterea preţurilor la combustibili

The European Commission has approved a €52 million aid scheme for Romanian cattle breeders affected by rising fuel and fertilizer prices due to the Middle East crisis. This scheme, valid until December 31, 2026, aims to mitigate the financial impact on the agricultural sector. Grants of up to €50,000 per enterprise will be provided. The approval is based on EU state aid rules, ensuring that the support is necessary and proportionate to facilitate economic activity without adversely affecting trade conditions. The METSAF framework allows member states to support vulnerable sectors during the crisis, with ongoing monitoring by the Commission.
