Producătorul chinez de vehicule electrice BYD va produce camioane în Europa în încercarea de a deveni o „companie europeană”

BYD plans to launch its first heavy-duty truck in Europe next year and aims to produce locally. The company seeks to provide a comprehensive service package for fleet operators, including financing and charging infrastructure. Local production will help BYD avoid import tariffs on trucks, which European manufacturers have requested against Chinese electric trucks. BYD is also expanding its car production capacity in Europe with a new factory in Hungary. In the first eight months of this year, BYD sold over 1 million vehicles outside China, marking an 86% increase from last year.
