The Bucharest City Hall announced that 438 apartment blocks will have reliable heating and hot water by winter, with 95% of the heating network renovations completed. These upgrades, funded by non-repayable European funds, involve modernizing 212 kilometers of heating pipes. The total investment amounts to 1.76 billion lei, with 1.3 billion lei from EU funds. Additionally, 11 kilometers of primary network pipes serving 66 blocks are also nearing completion. The city is focused on finalizing these projects to improve the heating infrastructure for residents.
