A total of 650 million euros is available for public institutions to produce and store renewable energy through two funding programs announced by the interim Minister of Agriculture. The funds, managed by the Agency for Financing Rural Investments, offer up to 10 million euros per beneficiary, with applications starting on September 28. The initiative aims to support public entities like municipalities, hospitals, and universities in installing photovoltaic systems and energy storage capacities, ultimately reducing energy bills and enhancing energy independence.
