Yehuda Aharon Widawski, the oldest Holocaust survivor in Israel, passed away at 107. Born in Poland, he dedicated decades to preserving Jewish graves in his homeland. Widawski was born on July 26, 1919, and experienced the horrors of the Holocaust, losing many family members. After the war, he moved to Israel and later returned to Poland to restore Jewish cemeteries, identifying and marking over 3,000 graves. His efforts contributed significantly to the preservation of Jewish heritage in Poland.
