A wildfire in Costa del Sol, near Marbella, has injured three people and prompted authorities to advise 9,500 residents to stay indoors due to rapid fire spread. The fire started near Benahavis, affecting a community with many foreigners. Emergency services reported one person suffered burns while trying to extinguish the flames, and a firefighter sustained a wrist fracture. Approximately 50 residents were evacuated as a precaution, but no homes were damaged. Over 200 firefighters and around 20 aircraft are involved in the firefighting efforts. This year, Spain has seen over 296,000 hectares affected by wildfires.
