Saudi Arabia has discovered around 110 million tons of rare earth elements and uranium ore in Medina, announced Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman. This significant find, made in partnership with the United States, highlights high concentrations of rare earth elements and promising uranium deposits at the Jabal Sayid site. The announcement follows a recent nuclear cooperation agreement between the two nations, aimed at enhancing their partnership in critical minerals and supply chains. Jabal Sayid is recognized as one of the world's largest rare earth sites, with substantial reserves that could support Saudi Arabia's nuclear fuel cycle development and potential exports to the U.S.
