Curse and Development" aims to highlight the impact of gold exploitation on local landscapes and economies. It will showcase traditional techniques, community testimonies, and artifacts from the region. The initiative encourages community participation, including students and local craftsmen, to foster awareness of local heritage. A significant aspect is the inclusion of the Rosia Montana Cultural Mining Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The project seeks to promote cultural tourism as a means of regional development.
