Avertisment dur de la Moscova pentru Finlanda, după ce aceasta a decis să adere la conceptul nuclear al Franței
Maria Zaharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, issued stern warnings to Western countries regarding NATO's nuclear strategy changes, particularly Finland's involvement. She criticized Finland's decision to join France's Advanced Nuclear Security Initiative, which allows French nuclear-capable aircraft to operate near Russia's borders. Zaharova argued that NATO's nuclear infrastructure expansion poses a direct threat to Russia and undermines international agreements. She emphasized that any NATO military infrastructure near Russia would be considered a legitimate target in case of conflict. Zaharova also questioned the awareness of Finnish citizens regarding the risks associated with hosting U.S. nuclear weapons. Additionally, she addressed the dangers faced by Western politicians visiting Ukraine, urging them to assess the risks realistically.
