A lawyer from Bucharest has been indicted for tax evasion, allegedly failing to declare over 650,000 lei in income from legal services. The estimated damage to the state budget is 122,747 lei. Prosecutors claim the lawyer sought to evade tax obligations between July 2018 and May 2024, with undeclared income from January 2017 to May 2023 totaling 652,838.31 lei. As a result, precautionary measures have been taken on her assets and bank accounts to cover the estimated damage. The case has been sent to the Bucharest Court of Appeal for resolution.
