BNR vede dezinflație. Românii văd scumpiri, un leu mai slab și un viitor mai sărac

Despite official data showing a decrease in inflation, a recent IRSOP survey reveals that Romanians remain pessimistic about future price increases and their living standards. The percentage of respondents expecting prices to rise in the next year has only slightly decreased, while those believing their living conditions will improve has dropped significantly. Financial situations are perceived to be worsening, with a notable decline in consumer spending. However, job security perceptions have improved slightly. Concerns about the national currency and interest rates have intensified, with many anticipating a weaker leu and higher borrowing costs. Interestingly, there is a rise in intentions to invest in personal development and businesses, despite a general trend of economic pessimism.
