Bogdan Ivan, despre prețul gazului: „A ajuns la 360-370 de lei/MWh, de aproape trei ori mai mult decât în primăvară”

Former Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan highlighted a significant rise in gas prices, reaching 360-370 lei/MWh, nearly three times higher than in spring. He expressed concern over Romania's gas storage levels, currently just above 70%, with a deadline of 90% by October 31. Ivan warned that failing to meet this target could increase dependency on expensive imports during winter. While consumers are currently protected, he noted that many Romanian companies are struggling to remain competitive. Ivan urged the government to clarify its strategy for stock replenishment and reducing import reliance, emphasizing the potential economic impact of rising gas prices this winter.
