The European Investment Bank has approved a €630 million financing for the modernization of the Brașov-Sighișoara railway line, a key infrastructure project in Romania. The investment will allow passenger trains to operate at speeds up to 160 km/h and freight trains at 120 km/h, benefiting around four million passengers annually.
