Cluj: Consiliul Județean vrea centru de conferințe și congrese în apropierea aeroportului/ Șapte oferte depuse pentru proiectare

The Cluj County Council has advanced the Regional Conference and Congress Center project near the Cluj International Airport. Seven bids were submitted for the design and technical assistance contract, estimated at 4.5 million lei excluding VAT. The center will cover approximately 10 hectares and is designed for large events, featuring modular structures, a reception area, and multiple conference halls. The main hall will accommodate up to 3,000 attendees and can be divided for various events. The project aims to position Cluj as a regional hub for national and international conferences. The feasibility study is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, with construction starting in spring 2024.
