Construcții fără autorizație: cum pot fi aduse în legalitate prin noua autorizație de regularizare

The new regulation allows property owners who built without authorization to legalize their constructions through a regularization permit. This permit can be requested under specific conditions set by Law no. 169/2026, effective from August 25, 2026. Eligible constructions include single-family homes, agricultural annexes, and certain modifications like balcony closures. A temporary provision allows for additional categories to be regularized until August 25, 2027. Owners must submit a request with required documentation, including technical expertise and proof of tax payment. If a construction does not meet legal requirements, it may need to be modified or demolished. Additionally, certain minor works can be done without authorization, while unregularized constructions face a 100% tax increase until compliance is achieved.
