Cu cât ar putea crește prețul carburanților din cauza grevei de la Terminal Oil? Dumitru Chisăliță (AEI): Dacă oprirea depășește zece zile, vorbim de disponibilitatea fizică a produselor
A general strike at Oil Terminal, Romania's largest oil import/export facility, is set to begin on September 28, following a warning strike on September 16. This action could lead to increased fuel prices and potential shortages, as the terminal is crucial for the country's oil supply. Dumitru Chisăliță from the Energy Intelligence Association warns that the strike, amid already high Brent crude prices, could exacerbate market tensions. If the strike lasts five days, fuel prices may rise by 10-30 bani per liter, with more significant increases possible if it extends beyond that. Romania relies heavily on oil imports, primarily from Kazakhstan, and disruptions could severely impact fuel availability.
