The Court of Accounts revealed serious issues at ANSVSA, including overvalued properties, unrecorded debts, and unreported compensations. The financial statements for 2024 were deemed inaccurate, leading to a "contrary opinion" from auditors. Significant discrepancies were found between ANSVSA's accounting and national reporting systems, with over 1.7 million euros unrecorded. Additionally, nearly 11 million lei in debts were not accounted for, and improper compensations were paid for non-existent animals. The report also highlighted procurement irregularities and excessive salary payments. ANSVSA is required to address these issues by December 31, 2026, including clarifying property evaluations and establishing clear procedures for recording European funds.
