The Court of Accounts revealed significant errors in pension recalculations, leading to discrepancies of over €100 million. Some retirees received higher pensions, while others saw reductions. The audit identified issues such as incorrect annual point allocations and miscalculations prior to the new law's implementation. It was found that pensions were overestimated by approximately 311 million lei and underestimated by around 230 million lei. Additionally, errors in recognizing agricultural contribution periods and improper granting of stability points were noted. The report also highlighted cases where pensioners received both salaries and pensions simultaneously, violating legal provisions.
