Citi Foundation has launched a project competition for non-profit organizations, including those in Romania, aimed at helping youth acquire skills for success in an AI-driven economy. Eligible organizations can express interest until October 6, 2026, with selected participants announced in 2027. The initiative addresses the challenges and opportunities posed by technology, particularly for youth from low-income communities. Grants of $500,000 will be awarded to 50 organizations that support skill development in AI and essential human skills, improve access to job opportunities, and enhance existing employment programs. This competition builds on Citi Foundation's long-term commitment to youth socio-economic integration.
