PPC has awarded a contract for high-voltage network connection works for a large photovoltaic capacity project in Arad County, costing over 140 million euros. The Greek group GEK TERNA is expanding its presence in Romania with a new project for PPC Renewables, which has an initial budget of 144.6 million euros. This project involves connecting two photovoltaic parks with a total installed capacity exceeding 600 MW. The contract, signed in August, includes the design and construction of high-voltage infrastructure in western Romania. PPC aims to increase its renewable energy capacity significantly by 2028, with ongoing projects in Romania and other countries.
