Italy recorded the highest prices at 228 euros/MWh, while Sweden experienced the largest percentage drops, particularly in two regions. Romania's energy market is currently affected by the absence of nuclear power since August 13, leading to increased reliance on imports and fossil fuels. The Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant's shutdown has created a substantial gap in the national energy supply, with expectations for its return depending on river water levels.
