În Coreea de Sud, o aplicație urmărește în timp real persoanele acuzate de stalking. Cum funcționează sistemul

A new app in South Korea allows stalking victims to track the real-time location of monitored offenders wearing electronic bracelets. The app alerts police when the offender is within one kilometer of the victim, enabling timely intervention. Launched in June, it follows a rise in stalking cases and aims to enhance victim safety. However, concerns arise about shifting responsibility for safety onto victims rather than authorities. The system is managed by the Ministry of Justice, which handles thousands of alerts daily, but only a fraction of electronic monitoring requests are approved.
