Inteligența artificială în sălile de judecată din România. Vor fi transcrie automat ședințele • Newsweek România

In Romania, over 1,000 courtrooms have been equipped with an AI-based system for automatic transcription of hearings. The Ministry of Justice announced the completion of this project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which took 32 months. The OPTIMUS platform enables audio recordings to be converted into text using speech-to-text technology, significantly reducing manual transcription time. The system includes features for speaker identification and is integrated with ECRIS for case management. The project started with a pilot in six courtrooms and has now expanded to 245 judicial institutions nationwide, enhancing the efficiency of the judicial process.
