Investiție de 54.000.000 €, într-o fabrică de armament istorică a României, lăsată de izbeliște după Revoluție • Newsweek România
A historic Romanian armament factory, established in 1799, is set to revive operations with a €54 million investment aimed at producing NATO ammunition. The Cugir Mechanical Plant, which saw its workforce decline from over 18,000 to under 1,000 post-revolution, has signed a contract for specialized machinery to enhance production capabilities. This modernization initiative will focus on manufacturing NATO-standard ammunition in various calibers, improving working conditions, and increasing environmental responsibility. The investment marks a significant development for the company, representing the largest project in three decades and promising technological advancements and industrial capacity growth.
