Economic agents in construction, hospitality, ridesharing, and HoReCa were fined nearly 31 million lei for labor law violations in the first eight months of the year. The ITM Bucharest reported that 1,175 individuals were found working without written contracts. Fines for undeclared work totaled 29.75 million lei, while 884,500 lei were imposed for health and safety violations. Non-compliance issues included lack of written contracts and failure to report contracts online. Additionally, 29 activity suspensions were ordered. ITM Bucharest will continue monitoring compliance across all sectors in the capital.
