Japonia va introduce plata serviciilor de salvare cu elicopterul de pe Muntele Fuji în extrasezon
Japan plans to impose fees for helicopter rescue operations on Mount Fuji during the off-season to deter unprepared hikers. The Yamanashi prefecture announced this measure to address the increase in reckless ascents outside the official climbing season. The proposed fee is around $10 per minute of flight for rescues, but it will be waived for properly equipped climbers who notify authorities of their plans. The implementation of this fee is expected to begin in September 2027.
