Lider PNL, audiat la DNA în această dimineață: Nu știu de ce am fost chemat

Valeriu Iftime, the head of Botoșani County Council, was questioned by DNA in Iași regarding a case involving businessman Fănel Bogos, who faces serious charges. Iftime expressed uncertainty about the reason for his summons, likening the situation to a random selection process. He stated he had never met Bogos and was only informed about the discussion related to him. Previously, Ciprian Ionuț Trifan, the president of Vaslui County Council, was also questioned in the same case. Bogos was arrested in November 2025 for instigation to blackmail and influence peddling, and later placed under judicial control.
