The company has invested over €2.7 billion directly and contributed €3.9 billion to the state budget. Lidl's operations have supported over 679,000 full-time jobs and directed €16.4 billion to local suppliers. The retailer has worked with over 3,300 suppliers, facilitating exports worth €231 million in recent years. In 2025, Lidl reported a consolidated turnover of over 27.3 billion lei, marking a significant growth in the Romanian retail market.
