The Ministry of Finance has announced that the reduced excise duty on diesel will remain in effect from September 16 to 30, due to market conditions. The current excise rate of 2.1 lei per liter, which is 25% lower than the standard rate, will be maintained in response to a 51% increase in Platt's quotation and a 27% rise in average pump prices.
