Ministrul Transporturilor: Nu se vor opri trenurile. CFR Călători va avea bugetul aprobat

Radu Miruță, the interim Minister of Transport, confirmed that CFR Călători trains will not stop operating despite budget approval delays. He emphasized the need for realistic budgeting, criticizing past practices of approving budgets without proper coverage. Miruță stated that the approved budget will allow the company to receive government funds. He also highlighted the importance of subsidies benefiting passengers rather than empty trains. Union representatives claim that the budget is currently blocked at the Ministry of Finance, warning that this could disrupt train operations. They noted that the state railway operator has been functioning without an approved budget for 257 days.
