O nouă taxă pentru coletele mici din afara UE

Starting November 1, a new processing fee will be introduced for small packages from outside the EU, in addition to the existing customs fee. This measure aims to address the increasing volume of small parcels entering the EU through e-commerce. The exact amount of the new fee is yet to be determined by the European Commission. The responsibility for customs formalities will shift to e-commerce platforms, which will be considered importers. This change is intended to alleviate pressure on customs authorities and ensure compliance with EU standards. Stricter controls and penalties for non-compliance will also be implemented.
