The authority conducted 488 investigations and imposed 105 fines totaling over 2.5 million lei. Common issues included unauthorized access to personal data and unsolicited commercial messages. Additionally, there were 934 requests for clarification on GDPR application. Many sanctions were challenged in court, with a notable number of cases contesting the authority's decisions.
