Peste 76% dintre operatorii din turism declară venituri în scădere în 2026, arată un studiu de specialitate

A recent study reveals that 76.4% of tourism operators in Romania expect declining revenues in 2026, with nearly half reporting decreases over 20%. Despite a 30% increase in accommodation capacity from 2020 to 2025, tourist arrivals have dropped by 4.1% in the first half of 2026. The study highlights challenges such as fiscal instability and rising operational costs, with many operators relying on self-financing. The need for effective financial incentives, like vacation vouchers, is emphasized. Additionally, the Minister of Tourism stresses the importance of attracting more foreign tourists and improving Romania's tourism offerings. The study was conducted by IMM Romania in partnership with Groupama.
