PNL a votat să susţină legea care reduce numărul de parlamentari la 300, dar să rămână 6 parlamentari pentru diaspora

Liberal deputies met to discuss their stance on a law reducing the number of Romanian parliamentarians to 300, while considering diaspora representation. AUR, USR, and UNIT proposed using the same representation algorithm for Romanians abroad as for those in the country. They also requested participation in the working group for the law's discussion and emphasized the need for a number of parliamentarians proportional to the over 6 million Romanians living abroad. The PNL concluded to support the law based on the 2009 referendum but voted to maintain six representatives for the diaspora.
