Prețul energiei electrice a explodat în Europa și România

Electricity prices surged in Europe due to lower wind production in Germany and increased pressure on gas plants. In Romania, peak prices reached nearly 3,500 lei/MWh. The average daily price rose to 238 euros/MWh, with a maximum of 656 euros/MWh. Romania is importing over 2,000 MWh from Bulgaria while exporting 1,600 MWh to Hungary. The price hikes are linked to broader European market trends, particularly in Germany, where spot prices increased by over 70%. Other northern European countries also experienced significant price rises. Geopolitical tensions and low gas stock levels in Europe further contribute to the price pressures.
