Prețurile gazelor naturale ating cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimii aproape patru ani
Gas prices in the Netherlands and the UK have reached their highest levels since late 2022 due to ongoing geopolitical tensions and low European reserves. The Dutch TTF contract rose by 4.7% to 83.2 euros per MWh, while the UK equivalent hit 207.3 pence per therm. A scheduled meeting in Oman to discuss navigation safety in the Strait of Hormuz was postponed, exacerbating supply concerns. Analysts predict that global LNG supply could drop significantly this winter if the strait remains closed, further straining European reserves, which are currently at their lowest since 2013. This situation is likely to increase competition for LNG and price volatility this winter.
