The facilities are part of a strategy to modernize service areas on highways. Each station includes parking for cars and trucks, as well as public restrooms. The concession for these stations has been awarded to Rompetrol for 25 years, with a minimum annual fee of 2.5 million lei. This initiative is part of a broader program to enhance service areas across the road network, with many more stations planned or under development.
