Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko resigned amid a corruption scandal and reportedly left the country on September 13-14. He allegedly used a business trip to Lithuania as a pretext for crossing the border. His wife also crossed the border earlier. Kravchenko signed an order to charge the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Semen Kryvonos, in exchange for leaving Ukraine. He accused NABU and SAPO of misconduct during investigations. President Zelensky requested parliament to expedite Kravchenko's dismissal. Following the news of his departure, Kravchenko confirmed he was abroad for business meetings regarding Ukraine's anti-corruption agencies.
