A recent study reveals that nearly half of Romanians could only manage for a month without a salary, despite many claiming strong financial skills. While 48% would struggle to cover expenses after losing their job, 40% believe they have good financial knowledge. However, only 20% answered most financial questions correctly. Many are cautious with spending, yet a quarter have no savings for emergencies, and only 14% have enough for six months. Interestingly, 19% have sought financial advice from ChatGPT, surpassing those who turned to TikTok or took formal courses.
