In the first eight months of 2026, Ukraine's national security and defense costs reached nearly 36 billion euros, with significant revenue losses due to Russian attacks. Meanwhile, Russia's military spending in 2026 is over 400,000 euros per minute, totaling more than 106 billion euros in the first half of the year, reflecting a 30% increase from the previous year.
