A 20-year-old man was detained after allegedly forcing his ex-girlfriend into a car in a supermarket parking lot in Pitești. Police opened a criminal case for illegal deprivation of liberty. The incident occurred on August 13, when the man compelled the 22-year-old woman to enter his vehicle, and they left the area heading towards Bascov. The car was later found in Băiculești. Authorities decided not to issue a temporary protection order after assessing the risk. A criminal investigation is ongoing, led by the Pitești Criminal Investigation Bureau.
