Launched on September 15, 2023, from French Guiana, it will track indicators like sea temperature, ocean currents, and vegetation health. The satellite's data will aid in weather forecasting, agriculture, and disaster management. Although not immediately operational, it will undergo testing before contributing to ongoing environmental observations alongside other Sentinel-3 satellites.
