UEFA modifică sistemul de promovare și retrogradare din Liga Națiunilor. Competiția va avea trei ligi din 2028/29

UEFA has approved changes to the promotion and relegation system for the 2026/27 Nations League, transitioning from four leagues to three starting in 2028/29. The new format will feature three leagues of 18 teams each, with promotion and relegation determined by results and special playoffs. The top teams from the current league structure will compete for spots in the new leagues, while the lowest-ranked teams will face relegation. Additionally, the current League D will be eliminated, with its teams promoted to League C. Romania will compete in League B for the 2026/27 season, starting against Sweden.
