The construction of the Aleșd - Hungary border railway section has met its PNRR target ahead of schedule, with over 70% of the railway completed. The project, led by WeBuild, is now focusing on the final 10 km in Oradea. The physical progress reported is 56.02%, with an estimated cost of 2.4 billion lei and a completion deadline set for the second half of 2028.
