VIDEO Operațiune spectaculoasă pe Autostrada Transilvania: Un drum național a fost mutat, iar lotul spre Ungaria poate fi deschis anul acesta
A national road has been relocated to facilitate the construction of the Transylvania Highway. The new 6.2 km section of DN 19E is ready for traffic tests this week. This move removes a significant obstacle for the A3 project, potentially allowing for its completion by the end of 2026. The old DN 19E route overlapped with the future highway, necessitating its deviation. The National Road Investments Company (CNIR) confirmed the new sections are built from scratch and awaiting technical checks. However, traffic will not shift immediately as safety audits and reception procedures must be completed first. The Chiribiș–Biharia section is currently at 71% completion, with over 550 workers on site. The project aims to create a continuous highway corridor to Hungary, enhancing regional connectivity.
