Archaeological excavations in Alba Iulia continue to reveal significant findings from the Roman city of Colonia Aurelia Apulensis. The site, initially intended for a bus depot, has uncovered Roman roads, intersections, and housing remnants, providing insights into construction techniques. The discoveries span nearly a thousand square meters and date primarily to the 3rd century, shedding light on the last decades of Roman presence in Dacia, particularly between 250-270 AD. Archaeologists are optimistic about the information these artifacts will provide.
