The furniture manufacturing company owned by György Stofa, who is under investigation, reported a revenue decline of 10 billion.
The revenue of Gyulai Fafém Bútor Zrt., owned by György Stofa, drastically decreased by 72% in 2025, coinciding with investigations into the MNB. Stofa, who became the owner in June 2021, saw the company's revenue rise significantly until 2025, when it dropped to 3.7 billion HUF. The company fell from 4th to 14th place among Hungarian furniture manufacturers, although it still reported profits. Employees claimed they had no knowledge of Stofa, and both he and his associate Ádám Matolcsy are currently wanted by authorities.
