12th anniversary of the tragic death of Dariusz Kmiecik

On October 23, 2014, a gas explosion in a tenement building led to the tragic deaths of journalist Dariusz Kmiecik, his wife Brygida Frosztęga-Kmiecik, and their two-year-old son Remigiusz. Dariusz, a prominent reporter for TVN, was known for his dedication and perfectionism in journalism. He began his career in 2006 and became one of Poland's top television reporters, recognized for his impactful reports on mountaineering. Following their deaths, both Dariusz and Brygida were posthumously awarded the Golden Cross of Merit by the Polish president.
