150 pilots race in Otegem with remote-controlled cars at 100 km/h
This weekend, the Miniatuur Racing Club Zwevegem hosted the 'Masters of Foam' event in Otegem, attracting 150 pilots competing with remote-controlled cars. The event has grown significantly since MRCZ became a co-organizer four years ago, reaching its maximum capacity this year. All participants receive equal driving time, regardless of their ranking, which sets this competition apart from others. The cars, scaled at 1:12, can reach speeds over 100 km/h. Participants emphasize the passion for the sport and the camaraderie among racers, highlighting the technical aspects of car tuning as essential for success.
